RTA’s Public Transport Agency in Dubai has inked a cooperative agreement with the iVenture Card International Company for boosting marine tourist transit services with the aim of bringing happiness to riders of these modes, which span the Ferry, Water Bus, and the Water Taxi.
“The cooperation with iVenture Card; a product intended to uplift and promote tourist products in a creative manner to ease the experience of mobility & travel. The idea of the card revolves around adding a host of products, services, recreational means and tourist destinations all combined in a single card such as Dubai Ferry, Water Bus, Water Taxi, Burj Khalifa, Atlantis Aqua Park, Helicopter, Safari and others. Such services are offered at affordable rates to enable users enjoy tours exploring iconic landmarks of the Emirate,” said Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, CEO of Public Transport Agency.
“The underlying objectives of the agreement showcases the policy of the senior management of the RTA to achieve two strategic goals of RTA i.e. peoples happiness through providing marine tourist transit services characterized by creativity, and Financial Sustainability. Such objectives can be realized the provision of creative marine mass transit means, and the financial sustainability through augment revenues of marine transit means, reducing costs, and realizing the partnership between the public and private sectors.
“Among the objectives the two parties struggle to achieve is to secure mutual benefits through charting out the structures of the partnership relations, making concerted efforts to improve the performance level to improve the efficiency of marine transit services, especially the tourist marine transport, and leverage communication with the two parties to achieve common interests.
“The responsibility of broadening the scope of public transport sector does not rest on the entity tasked with operation & supervision only, but also other sectors and strategic partners whether government, semi-government or private entities. This sector constitutes a key pillar of success & advancement to achieve happiness to all entities in the UAE. This responsibility is aligned with firm belief in the importance of public transport to make achievements at all fronts including the tourist and service sectors,” added Al Ali.

Our services are used in a number of countries such as Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong and China. Nevertheless, we need to work with the Marine Transport Department of the Public Transport Agency in order to enhance the tourist marine transport that plays a key role in consolidating the service sector and activating the tourist marine transport in Dubai.
