Dubai Crown Prince, Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum thanked Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for attending Al Marmoum Heritage Festival, adding that this visit means a lot, where highlighted the importance of camel racings in the region.
His comments came on the last day of Al Marmoum Heritage Festival, which concluded yesterday, and was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee and President of Dubai Camel Racing Club, and Advisor to the UAE President and President of the Emirates Camel Racing Federation and President of Abu Dhabi Camel Races Club Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Zayed Bin Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Bin Jumaa Al Maktoum, and Chairman of the Camel Racing Organizing Committee in Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Faisal Al-Thani, and Ali bin Sarood, Director General of Dubai Camel Racing Club.
Sheikh Hamdan said that the wining of the Camel “Khod” was expected, given its performance. He also congratulated the winners of the various races.
