The meeting was attended by Essa Al Zaabi, Senior Vice-President, Institutional Support Sector, Dubai Chamber, and Dr. Tamer Amr, Executive Director, Graduate Studies Department, Chief of Assessment Unit, Egypt’s Leadership Management Development Centre under the Ministry of Investment, who expressed his desire to benefit from the Chamber’s experience in leadership training in the areas of business excellence and innovation.
Dr. Tamer Amr emphasised on the UAE’s status of a regional role model in the area of business excellence, innovation and leadership management skills, as well as logistics development. He further stressed that this brotherly cooperation with the Arab country will benefit Egypt’s Leadership Management Development Centre’s Business Administration studies with Dubai Chamber providing professional training for the middle level management working on the new Suez Canal project.
On his part, Al Zaabi expressed Dubai Chamber’s willingness in offering all support and cooperation for training and exchange of experiences and knowledge in the area of business excellence, innovation and leadership. This cooperation will help prepare future leaders of the management development centre through University of Dubai, a Dubai Chamber initiative, which is an incubator for all professional training and academic programmes.
