Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and talked about DEWA’s projects and continuous development in providing services. Al Tayer also emphasised DEWA’s support of the National Innovation Strategy, launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to integrate innovation as a corporate concept, to make the UAE one of the most excellent and innovative countries in the world.

The move also contributes to DEWA’s global position as one of the largest and most efficient utilities, achieving the happiness of its customers and stakeholders,” said Al Tayer.
“We continuously work to raise the level of services provided, by adopting the latest technologies, systems and international best practices. We are also advancing our smart grid project to connect over one million smart meters to a smart integrated electricity and water grid. Starting from the main production stations, all the way to the end consumer point, the smart grid will host a wide range of applications to manage consumption at the highest levels of efficiency,” concluded Al Tayer.
