Sheikh Hamdan and the Queen of Jordan toured the exhibition which featured a variety of hubs, including the Social Impact Hub by telecommunication company du, and the Energy Hub by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) - the main partners of the event. Managing Director and Chair of the board of Dubai Women Establishment Mona Ghanem Al Marri briefed Sheikh Hamdan and Queen Rania on the exhibition, the creativity space at the heart of Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society meetings. Al Marri went on to explain that the Discovery provides a unique opportunity for delegates to meet, share, learn and be inspired through interactive sessions and workshops and will build on the topics explored throughout the main plenary sessions of the forum through 12 creative hubs and corners, including Happiness, Women and Science, Maison Guerlain, Entrepreneurship, Art and Culture, Social Impact, Energy, Women on Boards, Rising Talents, Women in Media, CEO Champions and the Scandinavian Delegation. The Discovery section is the renowned creativity space at Global Women's Forum meetings presenting complementary workshops and enlightening exhibits to expand upon the numerous concepts discussed during the main panel discussions. At the end of the tour, Sheikh Hamdan commended the objectives of the Discovery, describing it as a platform and opportunity for delegates and experts to meet and share their thoughts for the benefit of all, especially women and the young generation. |
