H.E. Emmanuel Kamarianakis expressed his appreciation for Dubai Customs’ constant support to Canadian businesses and diplomatic corps.
H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih said, “Canada is certainly one of Dubai’s key trading partners in the Americas, with trade amounting to AED 5.5 billion during the first nine months of 2015, while in 2014 trade added up to AED 7.3 billion. We are working to attract more Canadian investments to the emirate, allowing Canadian businesses to take full advantage of Dubai’s position as the undisputed regional hub for trade, logistics and business, and providing them with access to Asian, African and European markets.
Faisal Essa Lutfi, CEO of DC World and Director of External Relations at Dubai Customs, who was present at the meeting, said, “We strive to take our ties with trading partners around the world to new heights. We are more than willing to share our leading experience in Customs process development with others, who seek to boost performance in delivering best trade and Customs services.”
