MBRSC honours outstanding employees at the 10th Annual Ceremony

The ceremony started with an opening speech by His Excellency, thanking His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of MBRSC and General Supervisor of all the Centre’s projects, strategic and development plans, for their continued support and deep trust in the teams. 

Al Shaibani also praised the efforts of all the engineers and employees who have shown excellence, dedication and devotion in their work, thus reflecting an honourable image of the centre, which seeks to propel the UAE to be amongst the world’s greatest countries in the field of space.

The ceremony included a video documenting the achievements of the centre throughout the past ten years, and also saw the distribution of certificates of appreciation for employees for their long service at the centre. Moreover, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the winners of the Excellence Program "Bravo" from the engineering and administrative sectors, for accomplishing their tasks with a positive team spirit and exerting tremendous efforts in line with the culture of occupational excellence and innovation.

The winners were: 
•    Imran Ahmed Al Hammadi received the Award of Distinction for an employee in the Technical Field Category 
•    Boushra Rabi’ Salem received the Award of Distinction for an employee in the Administrative Field Category 
•    Mohammed Naji Al Hai for the Extra Miles of the Technical Employee Category 
•    Mohammed Yousuf Bshoury for the Extra Miles of the Administrative Employee Category 
•    Hassan Abdullah bin Tawk for the Technical Exceptional Nomination Category 
•    Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Awadi for the Administrative Exceptional Nomination Category 
•    KCAM Project team for the Distinguished Scientific Innovation Category
•    Aref Ramanath Muidony for the Unknown Soldier Category

Also, certificates of appreciation were distributed to all the candidates for the aforementioned categories, in addition to honouring the employees that graduated from the National Service Program and the outstanding student graduates. 

H.E. Yousuf Al Shaibani, Director General of MBRSC said: "At MBRSC we take pride in the success achieved by all the employees during the last ten years; this reflects our approach and our culture based on innovation and excellence in a stimulating and encouraging environment that supports success and development. The previous years witnessed many achievements which would have never seen the light of day were it not for the capabilities and competencies of our talented, professional team that faces challenges passionately with skill and perseverance, and knows no way other than achieving success and excellence”.

“The development of human capital in space science and technology is the most prominent pillar of growth, and is essential to the embodiment of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, for Dubai to become a leading platform in space industry worldwide,” Al Shaibani added. 

"The UAE has what it takes to be ranked first in the field of space science and technology, including the vision, strategy, projects, human capital, infrastructure, determination, will and passion to achieve success and development,” Al Shaibani concluded.
