New judges and UAE ambassador sworn-in before Mohammed bin Rashid

New judges and a new UAE ambassador have sworn-in before Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at al Mushrif Palace in Abu Dhabi. 

Present at the swearing-in ceremony were Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior His Highness Lt Gen Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

President of the Federal Supreme Court Mohammed Hamad Al Badi and the UAE Attorney-General Dr Hamad Saif Al Shamsi have vowed to uphold justice, respect the law and constitution of the UAE and perform their duties with devotion. 

New UAE Ambassador to Ghana Khalifa Yousif Al Zaabi have also sworn-in before his Highness Sheikh Mohammed. Al Zaabi pledged loyalty to the UAE and allegiance to the President and swore to uphold the constitution and laws and put the country’s interests over any other considerations while carrying out his duties, displaying a high sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality.

Two new military judges at the Armed Forces have also taken oath before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Major Sultan Mattar Sultan Al Dhahri and Major Sultan Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi have vowed to uphold justice and respect the law and constitution of the UAE. 

Sheikh Mohammed directed the new judges from the Ministry of Justice and the Armed Forces to be unbiased and faithful and respect the country’s interests and serve its people in order to achieve their happiness. 

Sheikh Mohammed also directed the new UAE Ambassador to Ghana to be “an ambassador of good” while working hard to preserve the reputation of the country abroad and maintain a good relationship with the friendly country of Ghana. 

Sheikh Mohammed wished the envoys success in carrying out their responsibilities, while bolstering the country’s position as a country of tolerance and peaceful coexistence. 

The swearing-in ceremony was also attended by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of Justice Sultan bin Saeed Al Baadi Al Dhahri, Minister of State for Defence Affairs Mohammed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Meer Abdullah Al Raeesi and Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.
