Motorists in Dubai can now plan for safer travel thanks to weather forecast updates via Dubai Municipality's "Dubai’s Weather" service on social media.
The weather forecast bulletin will issue notifications on weather conditions in the emirate which the public will be able to access on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
According to Iman Ahmad Al Falasi, Head of Geodetic and Marine Survey Section, the service will be undertaken through the monitoring and forecasting system of "Najm Suhail," an app which was launched by Dubai Municipality for weather monitoring of the city.
