This year artparis-AbuDhabi has created a new section dedicated to young galleries and the talents they promote. artparis-AbuDhabi Young Talents comprises 8 emerging artists represented by 8 galleries coming from 8 countries, to keep an eye-wide open on tomorrow’s great artists.

Among these, only works by Jamshid BAYRAMI and Seon-Ghi BAHK have already been seen at auction. A photo by Jamshid BAYRAMI, In the Line of Devotion, went at a sale at Phillips de Pury & Company in May of last year for 29,250 USD, greatly surpassing its estimate of 9,000 USD. Likewise for Seon-Ghi BAHK, one of whose sculptures sold for 39,908 USD at the same auction house in June of last year, defying all expectation.
The theme of new talents also includes Camille ZAKHARIA with her color photomontages, Jean-Marc NAHAS with his painted playlets, Yazid OULAB with his installation of masks, Nano WARSONO with politically slanted paintings, Pratima NAITHANI with her photos of Indian motifs and Marina FEDEROVA with her sparkling canvases. This last artist carried home the Nicolas Feuillate prize at the last edition of artparis.
